Visibil Technologies Ltd. ("Visibil", "we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of the businesses and individuals who use our platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have in relation to it.
By accessing or using the Visibil platform and related services (the "Services"), you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information
When you register for or access the Services, we collect information you provide directly, including your name, work email address, company name, and any other details submitted during account setup or in correspondence with us.
1.2 CMS and Website Content
To deliver the Services, Visibil connects to your CMS via OAuth authorization. Through this connection, we access and process:
Website pages, blog posts, metadata, and structured content fields;
Existing SEO attributes such as page titles, meta descriptions, and heading structures; and
Site content required to generate and implement optimization recommendations.
We access this data only to perform the Services. We do not sell, license, or use your website content for any purpose outside of delivering and improving the platform.
1.3 Connected Analytics Integrations
Where you choose to connect Google Search Console or Google Analytics 4, we access performance data including keyword rankings, click-through rates, impressions, and traffic trends. This data is used to correlate implemented changes with measurable outcomes. These connections are authorized by you and can be revoked at any time.
1.4 Usage and Product Data
We collect information about how you interact with the Visibil platform, including pages viewed, features used, actions taken within the product, and session data. This is collected via product analytics tools (currently PostHog) and is used to improve the platform and user experience.
1.5 Payment Information
If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled by a third-party payment processor. Visibil does not store your full payment card details. We receive limited transaction metadata (e.g., subscription status, billing period, last four digits of a card) for account management purposes.
1.6 Communications
If you contact us by email or through any form on our website, we retain the content of that communication and your contact details in order to respond and maintain a record of our interactions.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
Provide, operate, and maintain the Services;
Connect to your CMS and authorized integrations on your behalf;
Generate SEO and AEO recommendations and implement approved changes to your website;
Monitor brand citation visibility across AI-powered search platforms;
Correlate implemented changes with traffic and ranking outcomes;
Send transactional communications such as confirmations, billing notices, and change notifications;
Respond to support requests and inquiries;
Analyze usage patterns to improve platform performance and user experience; and
Comply with legal obligations.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell personal data to third parties.
3. AI Citation Monitoring
A core feature of the Services involves querying third-party AI platforms - including ChatGPT (OpenAI), Gemini (Google), and Claude (Anthropic) - to monitor how your brand is cited in AI-generated responses. These queries are sent in an automated capacity on your behalf. The queries themselves are generic brand and topic searches and do not include personal information. The responses returned by those platforms are processed within Visibil and stored to track citation trends over time.
Your use of this feature is subject to the terms and acceptable use policies of the relevant AI platforms.
4. Aggregated Outcome Data
Visibil builds an anonymized, aggregated dataset of SEO and AEO outcomes - recording what types of changes were implemented across the platform and what categories of traffic or ranking results followed. This dataset does not identify individual customers, websites, or businesses. It is used to improve the accuracy of the platform's recommendations and may be used in aggregate analysis or product development. No individual customer's data contributes to this dataset in a form that can be attributed to them.
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell personal data. We share information only in the following circumstances:
Service Providers: We engage third-party vendors to help operate the platform, including hosting infrastructure, payment processing, product analytics, and email delivery. These vendors access data only as necessary to perform their services and are bound by appropriate confidentiality obligations.

Business Transfers: If Visibil is acquired, merged, or undergoes a change of control, customer data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice if this occurs and your data becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.
6. Data Retention
We retain account and usage data for as long as your account remains active and for a reasonable period after to fulfill our legal and business obligations. CMS content accessed via OAuth is processed in order to deliver the Services and is not retained beyond what is necessary for that purpose. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
